Wella Blondor lightening cream
There has been very mixed reviews about this product, So I decided to do a quick little post just to give my opinion being a Wella geek - a lot of my clients used to be a level 5-6 in depth. I always mix at a 1-1 ratio using 6%, it's lovely and creamy, doesn't smell unpleasant, and doesn't bite at all on the scalp. I do normally use a plastic cap placed very lightly to keep in the warmth and checked every 10 minutes.
I have to say the results are beautiful. My clients always hair feels wonderful, the product does not dry out or best of all, swell, and is not hard to remove from the hair either. The porosity is great. I have always got a perfect blend of tone using this product so if anyone out there wants to try this in their salon I think it is superb!
Just keep in mind that this product is a soft bleach so doing a virgin head application or even lifting on the mid-lengths and ends doesn't always give you the best results so I recommend you using Wella Blondor lightening crystals as you may need something stronger but definitely on the scalp/ regrowth application it's perfect as an alternative to powder bleach.
